Intel: Return to the discrete graphics market: Xe GPU development is progressing well

Today’s news, Intel announced that it will return to the discrete graphics market after a 20-year hiatus, confirming that the development of Xe GPU is progressing smoothly. It is reported that in the company's recent financial report, Intel stated that its low-power GPU codenamed DG1 has already begun shipments, and may appear on PC products for the market this holiday (may refer to Christmas).    However, Intel also admitted frankly that the chip is still in the early testing stage, and according to the market, it will have to wait for a while, but the overall project progress and chip test performance are satisfactory to the team. It is reported that Intel divides the GPU (Xe) product line into four categories, namely low power consumption (LP), high-performance gaming (HPG), high-performance (HP) and high-performance computing (HPC), which correspond to each Class users.    According to sources, the aforementioned code-named DG1 belongs to Intel's low-power produc...

Don't panic when Intel CPU prices are soaring! Cost-effective game console installed like this

Recently, Intel CPU prices have ushered in a surge. For example, the mid-to-high-end Core i5 and Core i7 have increased by several hundred yuan. It is definitely not worthwhile to start at the current price. Fortunately, the price of the AMD Ryzen platform has been stable. Coupled with AMD graphics cards and Freesync monitors that have been reducing prices recently, AMD hardware is definitely the best choice if you want to install a cost-effective gaming computer recently. This mid-range game configuration with a display can be won at 7,500 yuan, which is relatively low-priced in the recent configuration of "Golden Equipment Shop". Ryzen platform is more cost-effective There are different opinions on the reasons for Intel CPU . The increase of several hundred yuan has already made many players find it unacceptable. Compared with a stable Ryzen CPU, the price gap has been widened again. This time, the little lion recommends the Ryzen 5 2600. This product still uses the...

The Intel CPU with the biggest boost is finally released, the tenth-generation Core desktop processor is completely revealed

Frankly speaking, Intel desktop products have been under great pressure in recent years after the rival Ryzen processor came out in 2017. It can be seen from its product development trend-on the 8th generation Core, for the first time we saw a Core i5 with a 6-core configuration and a built-in 4 core Core i3 processor; on the 9th generation Core, the first time We have seen the KF/F series processors with no built-in core graphics card finally, and the price has been further reduced, and the first Core i9-9900KS with the full core frequency increased to 5.0GHz. However, in the face of aggressive opponents' aggressive offensives and the release of various Zen 2 architecture processors, the above efforts are obviously not enough. Therefore, today, on April 30, 2020, Intel finally released the tenth-generation Core desktop processor, the COMET LAKE-S that has long been rumored in the industry. Improve physical structure and improve heat dissipation performance ▲The tenth-genera...

Apple's self-developed computer processor, bid farewell to Intel CPU

American Apple announced on June 22 that it will install a self-developed CPU (central processing unit) on the personal computer "Mac". Since adopting Intel CPU in 2006, Apple will replace it after about 15 years. In addition to reducing the power consumption of the computer using the new CPU, it is also easy to collaborate with the iPhone. Apple held its annual developer conference "WWDC" online on June 22 and announced the news at the conference. Apple CEO Tim Cook (Reuters), who attended the online annual developer conference "WWDC", first put self-developed CPUs on some new Mac products that will be launched before the end of 2020. After that, it took about 2 years to change the CPU of all models to its own products. Apple has joined hands with ARM Holdings, which provides semiconductor design support, and the production is expected to be entrusted to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSMC, TSMC). Apple Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Tim Cook s...
